Our Story
Jared Gossett moved to Austin in 2009 with a passion for craftsmanship and a clear vision: to build homes where quality and purpose shine in every detail. In 2010, he co-founded Gossett Jones Homes, which quickly earned industry recognition, including Custom Builder of the Year in 2012 and a place on the Inc. 500 list in 2014. When the partners chose to pursue different paths in 2017, Jared founded Gossett & Co. to further his dedication to exceptional, thoughtfully crafted homes. Since then, Gossett & Co. has been named Custom Builder of the Year in 2022 and has received national acclaim for its commitment to wellness and design-driven living.

Jared leads the strategic vision of Gossett & Co., overseeing investor relations and guiding the acquisition and financing of opportunities. He also directs Building Optimal, our thought leadership platform created to advance the building industry through education, collaboration, and insight. Beyond his work in homebuilding, Jared is committed to supporting entrepreneurs in underserved communities across the U.S. and Latin America. Through his nonprofit, he provides training and investment to small-scale businesses and craftsmen—offering both opportunity and visibility by integrating their work into Gossett & Co. homes. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and a master’s from The Ohio State University.
Brian Winburne
President
Brian oversees day-to-day operations at Gossett & Co., ensuring our projects are expertly planned, thoughtfully executed, and built to the highest standards. From pre-construction to final delivery, he brings a collaborative spirit to every phase—building strong relationships with both clients and trade partners. Known for his ability to solve complex challenges with clarity and care, Brian was named Construction Manager of the Year by the Austin Home Builders Association in 2015. He began his career in 1998 and is a graduate of Texas State University.
Erin Fabacher
Director of Sales
With over a decade of residential real estate experience, Erin brings a unique background from the real estate tech space and a deep specialization in new construction. She leads marketing and sales for Gossett & Co., helping bring some of Austin’s most beautiful and high-performance homes to market. Erin is dedicated to ensuring every Gossett & Co. client receives exceptional service while educating buyers and agents on what makes our homes truly stand apart.
